Thanks to support provided by individuals, the Alabama Museum of Natural History offers camp scholarships to families that otherwise would not be able to send their child to camp. This scholarship is for Fossil Camp on June 3-7, 2024. Fossil camp is for students in grades 4-7 who are interested in fossils, rocks and minerals, and paleontology.
Two scholarships will be awarded based on need and the availability of funds. The scholarship only covers the cost of registration. Only one application per family will be accepted. If you are applying for two children, please indicate that on the form. The children must be a part of the same family.
Applications must be submitted by May 3, 2024. To apply for a scholarship:
- Download and compete the Fossil Summer Camp Scholarship Application form.
- Send your completed application to Joyia Davis by emailing joyia.davis@ua.edu
Applications will be reviewed by Alabama Museum of Natural History staff and applicants will be contacted by May 15.
