Moundville Forensic Science Summer Day Camp

The 2021 Forensic Science Summer Day Camp will be held at Moundville Archeological Park from July 6-9th, 2021. This year’s camp will be a bit shorter, but still packed with the same educational fun!

Students will get a chance to learn from faculty members in the departments of anthropology, chemistry, and engineering. These professionals will lead engaging activities in which they describe many different aspects of crime scene investigation. Campers will have any opportunities to take their learning into their own hands. They’ll be part of handson demonstrations during lab and will be given a laboratory kit as part of their supplies.

This year, we only have 20 spots available for those dates, due to COVID restrictions.

We are a day camp that operates from 9am-4pm daily at Moundville Archaeological Park. It is our dream to become a residential camp, but until then, we work with local hotels to give us the best rates for our out-of-town campers. Each camper will receive daily instructions as well as their camp t-shirt. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
