Saturday in the Park is a series of demonstrations and presentations related to Native Americans, archaeology, natural history, sustainable gardening and more!

On Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 11 am until 2 pm, Mrs. Laretta Weaver will be inside the Jones Archaeological Museum at Moundville Archaeological Park to teach a basketry class and share about her Choctaw culture! This is a hands-on opportunity to make your own basket and take it home!

This program will take place inside the Jones Archaeological Museum.

Moundville is located 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa, off Alabama Highway 69 and the physical address is 634 Mound State Parkway, Moundville, AL 35474-6413.
