Your Guide to Moundville Archaeological Park

Moundville Archaeological Park is located 14 miles south of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Highway 69 South. From Highway I-20/59 take exit 71A and proceed 13 miles south. The park entrance will be located on your right on Highway 69.


Park Hours:
The park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Museum is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. year-round

Admission:
  • Adults: $5.00
  • Seniors: $4.00
  • Students: $3.00
  • Children: $3.00
  • Under 5: Free
  • Native Americans: Free with ID card
  • Alabama Museum of Natural History Members: Free with membership. (Membership information here.)
  • Camping: $12.00/night
Tours:
Self-guided tour handouts are given to each visitor free of charge. A complete tour of the park will last 2-3 hours. Tour guides are available with advance notice at a reasonable price. Guided tours last about two hours. For more information or to make reservations, please call (205) 371-2234.
