Haunting at the Museum (October 25-29)

Haunting a

Get in the mood for Halloween during October 25th until October 29th by visiting the Alabama Museum of Natural History  and The Gorgas House Museum for Haunting at the Museum! The museums will be lit up by 2L7‘s Lyndell McDonald and offer activities and experiences specific to their spaces. The Alabama Museum of Natural History will have 25 gravestones indicating extinct mussels from Alabama, including their description and extinction dates as well as activities for children and free posters. The Gorgas House Museum will feature six panels that detail the spooky stories associated with the house!

Admission

General admission is $2.00, but if you show up in your Halloween costume, you’ll get in for free!

Admission is also free for current University of Alabama faculty, staff, students, and members of the University Alumni Association.

Hours

The Alabama Museum of Natural History is open Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Gorgas House Museum is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
