Exhibit: The Modernization of Tuscaloosa’s Built Environment: The Architecture of Don Buel Schuyler, 1937 – 1964
The exhibit is on display at the Bryant Conference Center and will run through the end of the summer 2018.
Enjoy the works of Tuscaloosa’s premier architect, Don Buel Schuyler. Guest curators Gene Ford, Architectural Historian with the Office of Archaeological Research (UA), and Jeanette Remaley, Schuyler's granddaughter, worked with the staff of the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum to gather images that chronicle the work of Schuyler from Wichita, Kansas where he worked with Frank Lloyd Wright to the Tuscaloosa buildings that bear his signature style.
